Grab Bag Sale and Free Shopping Bags!!

Divine Digital has a grab bag sale going on for 3 days only!!

And yes, I have not one, but two personal use grab bags in it!!

Why the "Must Love" titles?  Those are hints as to what the product is - and the product is for animal lovers.   The color swatch done in glitter and chipboard is another hint.  And waitaminute - I think I see a few critters trying to sneak out of the bag!!!  Ok, I will tell you what is in there:  each grab bag contains 5 chipboard animal element packs - one set in each color.  Grab bag #1 Must Love Cats & Dogs is all chipboard cats and dogs as well as few extra pet things like dogbones and fishbones.  Grab bag #2 Must Love Other Animals is all of the other chipboard animals (horses, rabbits, elephants, dolphins, birds, etc).  I had to break it up into two grab bags because there is so many animals.  The 5 sets in Cats & Dogs together are approximately 430 mb, and the 5 sets in Other Animals are approximately 450 mb.  (To get an idea of what the finished product looks like, but in a different color, check out my kit "Eclectic Mix 1 - only there is a lot more!)  Each set is specially priced at only $2, but just for the limited sale.  After that the grab bags will be gone and the 10 individual sets will go in the store at $1 each.  So buy now!!  When and where else are you going to get over 400 mb of stuff for only $2??

So purchase Grab Bag #1 "Must Love Cats & Dogs" here for only $2 for a limited time!
And purchase Grab Bag #2 "Must Love Other Animals" here for only $2 for a limited time!

And oh yeah, freebie ???  Did somebody say there was a freebie???

I have a little freebie for you of 5 shopping bags made from papers in my "Paws 4 Me" and "Batikin' Me Crazy 4 Paws" kits.  (These are the kits that the chipboard animals in the grab bags color co-ordinate with - and these kits are still on sale!!!)  You know me, I always make several variations of something before making up my mind which one I like best (if I can make up my mind).  And it just seemed like a waste to just delete these shopping bags after making them for the grab bag previews!!

So download your "Free Shopping Bags" on 4 shared here.

Wild About Blue?

Then have I got a freebie for you!!

And if you are just plain wild, then you will be happy to know that "Project Pattern" is returning this week to Divine Digital and the theme is Animal Prints!

And in case you haven't figured it out, the freebie goes with my Project Pattern kit, which is titled "Wild Blues."  Aw come on now, you know I couldn't do just regular ordinary animal prints!!

Don't let the preview fool you - there is a whole lot more to this kit in the way of elements than I could fit on there to show you.

There are eight animal print papers and seven co-ordinating grungy solid papers for balance. A multitude of frames, frame wraps and co-ordinatiing bows are all in separate files so that you can mix-n-match (and do your own drop shadows the way you want them). Two versions of each frame are included: horizontal and verticle for correct shadowing.

This kit is approximately 280 MB and contains:

15 Papers (8 animal prints and 7 grungy solids)
34 Frames and 5 Frame Wraps
27 Bows
18 Flowers
13 Brads
7 Binder Clips
8 Ribbons and 8 RicRaks
6 Journaling Tags

High resolution 300 ppi.  Papers are 12" x 12" in jpg format.  Elements in png format.  Personal use, but scrapping for others for gifts or digi photo swaps is permitted (please see TOU file).

And the best thing is that this huge kit is on sale for only $2 but only for one week!!  And I have also put all items (except $1 items) in my store on sale, too.

***** Update April 2012 - kit is now on sale at Berry Sweet Scraps and freebie has been redone - look for post with updated links  *****

And happy scrapping!!

Need Some Bling In Your Halloween?

Hmmm.... is there an echo in this blog?  Ok then, need more bling in your Halloween?

But first it is finally time for the

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

I am now selling my products exclusively at Divine Digital!  There was a big delay because the site crashed back in May thanks to some hackers.  Getting the site back up even required a change in host server companies. (Long story!)  But the site is back up and the designers are loading up their stores and I am loading up my new store.  There are new kits and new freebies in my store, so please go take a look!  However, with the change in host server companies some software customization is in the process of being rewritten.  So right now there are two restrictions: (1) free ($0) orders are not automatically processed.  Royanna has to manually approve them.  She tries to do this twice a day, but life happens so please be patient.  and (2) there is only one download per product.  Since my kits are usually big, this means some huge zip files that are going to be problems for anyone on dial-up.  (I haven't loaded my two biggest kits in the store because of this.)  Royanna says there are alternatives, so I can ask her if need be.  These restrictions are temporary, but we don't know for sure for how long.

So now back to our regulary scheduled sales pitch, er freebie....  Remember this kit from last year?  (Of course it now has a new preview!)

It really seemed a little bit incomplete, so I made more!!  Here's Part 2:

So now with the ribbon freebies you can just bling your Halloween layouts to the extreme!!  Here are some detailed close-ups:

Ok, since you have been so patient through the sales pitch, here are the links:

Check out my entire store here.  I've put stuff on SALE!!

Purchase HallowBling! 1 here.

Purchase HallowBling! 2 here

Purchase BOTH HallowBling! 1 and HallowBling! 2 at a DISCOUNT Price here.

And for your Freebie HallowBling! Ribbons you can download them from 4 Shared here or you can dowload them from Divine Digtal's server here (no need to go to the store, just click and download starts).

Come back soon, because things are starting to happen (and yes, another freebie!)

Flowers For You

I have been very busy slaving away over a hot computer.  But, still not ready for the "Big Announcement" though.  I don't want y'all to think I have forgotten you.  So I went through my hard drive and put together a little freebie for you.  It is title "Misc Flowers" because it is all flower stuff that doesn't necessarily go together.  Sometimes I was just playing around making stuff with commercial use overlays and actions that I had just bought and wanted to see what they would do.  Other times I was working on a particular kit, and the result was good, but not what I wanted for that kit.  Maybe I have hording tendencies because I didn't want to just delete them.  So I bundled a bunch of them together for you as a freebie.

There are eight 12" x 12" 300 ppi high resolution papers.  There are two branches with flowers (kinda looks like one in the preview, but it's two) and 11 flowers of various colors and types.  Hopefully something will be just perfect for a layout you are working on.  Personal use, but scrapping for others for gifts and/or digital photo swaps is permitted.  Please read the enclosed TOU file.

Download "Misc Flowers" on 4 shared here.  Sorry for those on dial-up, but I was lazy and it is a rather big 75MB file.

Keep watching for the "big announcement" and please don't forget about me!!!

Becky's Brick House Alpha and Papers

Becky is a wicked witch.  She says so herself.  (Seriously, her username over at A Cherry On Top is imwickedwitch.)  So when the wicked witch says she needs a red brick alpha and paper, I jump and make her one.  I don't want to be turned into a frog!  And since I have to load it up to 4shared to get it to her, y'all can download it, too.

There are 5 12" x 12" 300 ppi resolution jpg format papers.  3 have brick designs and 2 are just grungy.  The alpha is all upper and lower case, numbers and symbols that are on the keyboard.  However, it is a small alpha at only a little bit over an inch high.  Everything is in one file, so you will have to cut & paste the letters to get them out, but there is plenty of space between them.  (I was too busy jumping to get this done quicky and not become a frog to get them all in separate files.)  Dropshadows are just on the preview.

Download Here

I still hope to be in a store by the end of the summer.  My mother continues to decline, but she seems to be having happier delusions now.  Thank you for all your words of support.

**** UPDATE **** here is Becky's layout:

I think it turned out great!!!  Here is Becky's description and credits for the other items:

This is a layout of my DD's soccer awards banquet where she was awarded first team all region goalie and second team all state goalie. The best award in her eyes came from her teammates who gave her the coveted "BRICK WALL" award for best defender. I could NOT have created this layout without the help of ANN, of AnnOminous designs who specially created the alpha and brick wall paper for this layout and Lilkoala (leslie) for the inspiration for the title. Scrapbooking is truly a collaborative artform!!!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

I am going to be taking a hiatus from designing.  There is a lot going on in my personal life right now.  My mother has Alzheimer's, which is getting bad.  She is in hospice care now.  Also, I am trying to get into an Alternative Teacher Certification Program and become a high school math teacher.  I have to go take the THEA test, which means I need to do some test prep work.  There just isn't much time for designing, plus I am often too stressed to be creative.  This means that my store at Bits2Kits.com will be closing on April 30th.  And it also means that until then everything is on sale!!!  40% to 50% off on all items!!  So please, check out the sales here before everything is gone at the end of the month!!

(And please say a prayer/think positive thoughts for my mother and for me to get into the teacher's program!)

CHD Awareness Blog Train

Choo Choo!!  Here I am as the caboose for the Blog Train!!  I am finally back online.

CHD (Congenital Heart Defects) Awareness Week is Febuary 7th through 14th.  Apparently CHD is one of the most common birth defects and as many as 1 in 100 babies are born with it. Though many treatments are available, unfortunately it usually means lots of doctor and hospital visits for the little ones.  For that reason my contribution to the blog train has a very medical theme.

There are a few more elements than shown, mainly some more color variations on the pills and shots.  The papers are more generic, including some grungy solids that can be used for any type of layout.

The other participants in the blog train are:

Toucan Scraps http://colestoucan.blogspot.com/

LilyBelle http://lilybellscraps.blogspot.com/

Winks Art http://winksartgraphics.blogspot.com/

Shelly Chua http://scchua.blogspot.com/

Calli Scrap http://calliscrapdesignemporium.blogspot.com/

Meredith Cardall http://meredithcardall.blogspot.com/

Since the blog train started on the 7th and I am late due to technical difficulties, you will need to scroll down to find the post on some of these active blogs (but it will be worth it!).

And finally here are my links.  They are on 4shared, which recently suffered some hacker activity, so please let me know if any virus alerts are triggered!!

For those of you on high speed internet, you can download the entire kit in one big 62 mb download here.

For those of you on dial-up, here are links for 3 smaller downloads:

**** UPDATE Sat Feb 13th at 11:25 am central *****

I just got feedback from somebody that their AVG virus alerted on the elements file.  It was scanned clean by 4shared's Kasperky anti-virus when I uploaded it, but just in case some hackers have messed with it since then, I have uploaded it again and you can get it here  I am not deleting the old link just yet as AVG lost credibility with me a few years back when they flagged an important Windows file as a virus and screwed a bunch of people up by deleting it.  I would appreciate feedback from people with other anti-virus software as to whether or not their programs alerted.  Also, 4shared seems to have a lot of traffic right now.  If you get a server limit message, just come back and try later.  I have no plans to delete any of the links anytime soon - except of course if they are virus infected, then I will replace.  But do remember to come back, please!!!

If you are new to my blog, please scroll through the old posts.  Almost every one of them has a freebie!!!  And please do come back, as I will have some Valentine freebies up soon, including a Valentine's blog train starting I think on the 13th.  (I have a lot of catching up to do after being offline for 2 weeks!!)

Internet problems, but still a freebie 4 U

It's the first of the month again - ok, it is the 5th and I'm late.  My modem died Wednesday night of last week.  Rather than pay $80 for a new one, I decided to upgrade to AT&T's U-Verse and get faster service with a new free modem.  They were suppose to install it on Wednesday, but the installer said that the line into my house was too old to support U-Verse and I had to have a new one put in first.  I'm hoping it will all get done by next Wednesday, the 10th.  I'm over at a friend's house using his internet (give a big shout out and thank you to Clive!) in order to bring you this freebie.

It is a little freebie add on for the new February Bits2Kits Mega kit Bee My Honey:

This is a really nice collab kit that has:

67 papers, 37 patterned and 30 solid but textured,

1 bee bear, 6 bees, 1 bee hive,
12 buttons, 10 frames, 1 honey pot,
7 ric raks, 1 ripped paper, 2 stitches,
3 cluster frames, 1 charm, 10 hearts,
6 ribbons, 1 border, 1 trim, 1 bracket,
1 staple, 2 bears, 12 word arts,
1 petal, 3 glitters, 1 butterfly,
2 flowers, 1 leaf, 1 arrow, 1 lip ( kiss)
7 stickers, 6 tags, 4 bows,
2 doodles, 1 gem, 2 journalling strips,
1 string, 4 stamps, 1 diaper

2 Alphas
1 bear template
1 set of plastic styles

10 12x12 quick pages

And all for the low sale price of just $6 this month!!  To further intice a sale from you, here are the close-ups for my contribution:

***** Update 8/1/2010  ******  Sorry, not available any more *********

A funny layout and a freebie

OK, I admit it. When the day comes, I am really going to catch it from Him for sloth (gluttony, too). I will give Him the excuse that I just had to leave my dirty clothes on the floor because Lovie likes to sleep on them. Think He will buy it?

Gotta love Lovie. One morning I woke up to find she had slept with more than just my dirty clothes:
It was all I could do to keep from laughing and waking her up while I tiptoed out and got the camera!

The layout was done with my kit "Starry Slumber" which is available at Bits2Kits.com. I scraplifted a layout done with the kit by B2K Creative Team Member Scrappinbella. She came up with the idea of using the I and the = from the alpha to make the border frame. So since I had to make the border myself for this layout, I decided to give it to y'all as a freebie. I also made a rectangular version and included 4 wooden look star brads that match the kit.

*** UPDATED 10/24/09 Download the expanded Starry Slumber Bonus pack from 4shared
*** UPDATE  8/20/10 - Sorry, this freebie is no longer available *****
